General F.A.Q.


Which shipping carrier do you use?
We ship all packages via USPS. We offer First Class, Priority Mail and Express Mail as shipping options.

How long will it take to ship my item(s)?
All orders usually ship within 1 business day after receiving a cleared payment.

How much does shipping cost / how can I get a shipping estimate?
Shipping rates depend on weight and are dynamically calculated by using USPS rates. To get an estimate on your shipping costs, please add the items you'd like to purchase to the cart and then use the Estimate Shipping button at the bottom.

Can you please pack my items carefully, so they won't get damaged in the mail?
We do care that you receive your items in perfect condition, so we always package them extra carefully! Most items ship in bubble mailers, with extra bubble wrapping (if needed) and a sheet of cardboard to prevent bending (usually for postcards, shitajiki and trading cards). If the order is larger it will usually ship in a box, bubble wrapped and/or with peanuts or similar shock-absorbing material.


U.S. Shipping


How long will it take for my package to arrive?
It depends from the shipping method you select. First class is usually delivered in 3 - 5 business days; Priority Mail is faster and usually gets delivered in 2 - 3 days.

Why I cannot select First Class Mail as a shipping method?
For USPS regulations, all packages weighing more than 13oz have to be shipped by Priority Mail.

Is my package traceable?
Delivery Confirmation is always included in the shipping cost for First Class and Priority packages, and can be used on the USPS web site for limited tracking. If you wish for a more complete tracking, please select Express Mail.


International Shipping


Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do ship internationally!

Help! My Country's customs has taxed my package!
Unfortunately there's nothing we can do: you are responsible for taxes/vat and duties imposed by your Country's customs.


Shipping Insurance


Can I insure my package against loss or damage?
Absolutely! We offer affordable shipping insurance rates for U.S. and most international destinations at Step 2 of the checkout process.

Which insurance company do you use to insure outbound packages?
Professional 3rd Party Shipping Insurance is provided by Shipsurance Insurance Services.

Is insurance included with Express Mail?
Express Mail packages are already insured up to $100.00, so you don't have to purchase the optional insurance in this case.


Returns


Do you accept returns?
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns at this time. However, we are available to work with you if you find something dissatisfying with your order.

I received the wrong item (or my order is missing an item), what do I do?
It never happened so far but, hey, we are human too :p
If you received the wrong item by mistake, or if you are missing an item from your order, please contact us immediately. We'll make sure to ship the correct/missing item to you as soon as possible at no extra charge.
